Rookie Rumble

Well I guess I best do an update. I have been a little preoccupied and not in the writing mood. And it was just brought to my attention I hadn't updated since the trial. Well It was a beautiful day for working with dogs and seeing people you haven't seen for a while. Took my pup out for some socializing. He wasn't quite sure about all of it. Did think the sheep were interesting. I think I am going to have to train him to come by saying that will do. I use it with Belle and Trey and have caught myself trying to get Kolt to come to me that way. Well Belle did good at the trial. In fact she took a first with her first run. I need to ask Don how we managed that because It was not the nicest run she could have done but not bad for not being worked for 2 months except a couple of days before the trial. In myopinion her second run was a lot nicer and we got more accomplished. I'm beginning to think penning is going to be her strong point. At the two trials the penning was pretty nice. Or else I just got lucky. Belle is so easy to work with compared to Trey. She is so calm in her own way. If I could just get myself in a position to really work with her. My situation can't last forever.

Have spend the last week trying to help a friend move, plus still keep up with my place. I overdid it Friday night and I'm still paying for it. I wish there was someway Social Security could evaluate me after I did something or as I was doing it. Maybe they could see that I could do something for two seconds but to do a job from start to finish is what does me in. Well I guess I better try and get moving. I have to get my Van to the shop before my tire goes completely flat again. All of you heading to Utah have a great 4th of July and good luck at the trial.

No Title Post

Can't think of a title for this so I won't use one. Well the yard is really coming together. I think I am almost to where I want it to be at least for this year. Of course the flower bed will be a work in progress but after 9 years I finally have a flower bed. I love flowers. Really I just enjoy color of any sort as long as it is bright. Was taking pictures the other day and wound up with this picture. It was not suppose to look this way. I had been messing with the settings and I think I forgot to change back to a normal shot. The picture is of my Lab/BC. I think she was trying to hide in the pile of branches because just before that, I tried to get her picture and she barked at me and ran off. We are going to start back with Dianne after Sue Wessels trial. Belle was in heat so we decided to wait until she was out. Well I guess I better get back to my dishes.
